The Mirror, 40%, and Happy Self
Many people believe they have something to say about you and your life. They may try to talk you out of your dreams — dreams in your mind for years, waiting to be realized.
While traveling along the East Coast of Australia, I listened to David Goggins’s book You Can’t Hurt Me. This book chronicles the incredible journey of a troubled youth who became a Navy SEAL. While some stories may seem absurd, they are all fact-checked and verified.
One quote that resonates profoundly is:
“Find more to become more.”
In my words… There is still so much more to uncover within myself. I have dreams yet to accomplish. I have listened to others’ well-meaning perspectives about my life for too long.
But the issue isn’t with them.
It’s with me.
My inner dialogue and that little voice in my head.
I came to Australia to fulfill my dream of visiting this last continent on my list, to reconnect with my good study friend Berend, meet other friends, discover the country, and to engage in meaningful conversations with myself about dreams, choices, and who I genuinely want to be.
