Teamwork makes the dream work 🙄

How far would you get if asked to create a list of the top 50 business clichés?

Let’s do this now. Pause for just three minutes and start writing. Write down the stuff you hear daily, or probably even worse on an hourly basis, in case you’re one of those admirable back-to-back meeting tigers.

Seriously, put this email away. Pause for three minutes and write a few down, just for fun. Just do it. That’s one of them already.

If you don’t feel like pausing, feel free to read ahead. But then, allow me to be cynical for a moment, or hit unsubscribe below if you don’t appreciate it when I use my humor or am slightly cynical of contemporary managers.

But before you hit unsubscribe, remember I’m doing this for you. I’m writing because I’d like to make you pause, think, and learn for a while. I know how busy you are. I know you have a lot on your plate. I know you’re looking forward to the weekend to check the unread emails you missed this week.

Ouch?

Sorry!

So, what’s the list you came up with?

I heard some of mine at least once last week, and one came from my twenty-one-year-old daughter:

  • Low hanging fruit
  • It is what it is
