Uncertainty is an integral part of our lives. We might live another thirty years, or it may be over tomorrow. The fact that we will leave this beautiful earth at some point is, in fact, the only certainty in life.

The rest is uncertain.

To illustrate the point I’m making in this insight and before I move on to add some of my personal experiences, here are quotes from three of my favorite people in life and business:

“Both in leadership and in life, courage is not knowing the outcome but taking the first step anyway.” — Brené Brown.

“The best leaders and the happiest people learn to be comfortable with the unknown.” — Simon Sinek.

“The most successful people are those who can turn uncertainty into an adventure.” — Steve Jobs.

They all make the point that you don’t let uncertainty take control over you. You embrace uncertainty, prepare for it, and course-correct when things don’t go as expected.

Doing that well shows how resilient you are.

In business, resilience means thriving in uncertainty, staying innovative under pressure, and learning from failures. In life, it’s about bouncing back stronger from hardships.
