Closure

I love it when my readers engage with my Insights. I can't say that my Insights are going viral, but almost every week, I touch somebody with my writing and receive feedback.
Recently, I received feedback on my C article, which discussed frequently used business language and words that start with the letter C.
Two of my readers, who read the article together while on vacation, challenged me to provide them with another C word that they could then provide input on. Fun request.
Since I had "Closure" as a topic on my list to write about, that became the challenge for them.
Here's the text I received:
"Leadership talks a lot about open…
Open communication, open mind, open door.
However, a true leader also needs to know how to close, with dignity, grace, and ease. We all know how it makes us feel when we hear a door slamming.
Closure is not a failure. It is an art; the art of saying, "this ends here, and it's all good.”
The art of closing a project that no longer works.
To end cooperation that yields more than it takes.
